Davy
B. Davis Campbell, gifted author and speaker, is a lifelong resident of the Birmingham, Alabama area. In 2004, at age 43, he was shocked to discover he had Stage III bladder cancer. He subsequently underwent total removal of his bladder and creation of a new bladder, a "neobladder", out of twenty inches of his small intestine. Later, in 2006, cancer reoccurred in his lymph nodes. As a result, he underwent three and a half months of brutal chemotherapy. His chances of surviving five years per his oncologist were fifteen to twenty percent. But God had other plans. In June 2011, he surpassed his five year cancer anniversary and was declared healed. He has used his cancer experience as a springboard for ministry. He is the author of "A Place I Didn't Want To Go: My Victory Over Cancer"/"Glorified Sickness: Honoring God Through Illness"/"Bullet Points: Absolute Essentials For Facing A Fallen World." All books are available on Amazon.com. He is available to speak at churches or civic groups and can be contacted at bdaviscampbell@gmail.com.
